Future site of The Derailed Brew and Cider House (Kenosha, WISC.)

A trend seen in today's brew effort, eco-friendly brewing facilities seem a must to have.
Built in 1880, steps from "the end of the line", The Derailed Brew and Cider House is eco-friendly in that it is from 1880 and has not been razed and replaced by another building. Eco-friendly also in that its employees must reside in the long house next door. They also enjoy 10% off goods from the company-owned general store.
Some 19th century traditions are still alive!

EJ&E meet at North Chicago

A pair of Oranges about to set out at Abbot Labs in North Chicago, ILL., nearly collide with an out-bound scoot, had it not been for the 100 year-old over pass...
The film-crew somewhat "loose it" at the end of the footage given the rarity of such an occurrence.

Clybourn to Deering Bridge date unknown

Rare footage eased from the archives details the slow departure north from Clybourn on track one on the Kenosha subdivision up to and just over the Deering Bridge over the North Branch of the Chicago River.
